Your role
As a Backend Developer at SYNAOS, you will take part in the development of a cutting-edge product to guide an intralogistics workforce. You will collaborate in a cross-functional team including frontend and app developers, backend developers, and product managers to find the best solutions to our customer`s problems.
Your mission
  • Leverage your expertise in Java and Spring Boot to develop backend systems that orchestrate intralogistics workflows
  • Design and provide APIs for web- and app-based user interfaces
  • Work with modern technologies and tools such as Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, IntelliJ, GitLab, Jira, REST, PostgreSQL, and AWS
  • Contribute to Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) with flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced project cycles
  • Ensure high code and product quality through testing and code reviews
  • Thrive in a multicultural, agile team environment
  • Promote a collaborative team spirit by engaging actively with colleagues to ensure effective communication and mutual support
Your profile
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., Software Engineering, Information Technology
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Java backend development
  • Proven experience in collaborative software development within agile teams
  • Strong ability to work independently, paired with a structured and organized working style
  • Proficient communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Hands-on mindset with a strong “get things done” attitude

Als Backend-Entwickler bei Synaos arbeitest du an der Entwicklung eines innovativen Produkts, das Intralogistik-Teams bei ihrer täglichen Arbeit unterstützt. Gemeinsam mit einem funktionsübergreifenden  Team aus Frontend- und App-Entwicklern, Backend-Entwicklern und Produktmanagern entwickelst du Lösungen, die optimal auf die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden zugeschnitten sind.
Deine Mission
  • Nutze deine Erfahrung in Java und Spring Boot um Backend Systeme zu entwickeln, welche die Mitarbeiter:innen in der Intralogistik leiten und unterstützen
  • Entwirf und stelle APIs für web- und appbasierte Benutzeroberflächen bereit
  • Arbeite mit modernen Technologien und Tools wie Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, IntelliJ, GitLab, Jira, REST, PostgreSQL und AWS
  • Trage flexibel und anpassungsfähig zur Entwicklung von Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) in dynamischen Projektzyklen bei
  • Stelle durch Tests und Code Reviews eine hohe Code- und Produktqualität sicher
  • Arbeite erfolgreich in einem multikulturellen, agilen Teamumfeld
  • Fördere einen kooperativen Teamgeist, indem du dich aktiv einbringst und für eine effektive Kommunikation sowie gegenseitige Unterstützung sorgst
Dein Profil
  • Du hast einen Abschluss in Informatik oder einem ähnlichen Bereich (z. B. Softwaretechnik, Informationstechnologie)
  • 3+ Jahre berufliche Erfahrung in der Java Backend-Entwicklung
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der kollaborativen Softwareentwicklung innerhalb agiler Teams
  • Hohe Eigenständigkeit in Kombination mit einer strukturierten und organisierten Arbeitsweise
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil)
  • Hands-on-Mentalität mit ausgeprägter „Getting-things-done“-Einstellung
